Anguirus is the main antagonist of the 1955 Japanese kaiju film Godzilla Raids Again and a protagonist of later films.
Anguirus is a mutated ankylosaur that fought Godzilla in Osaka, Japan. Although this one was killed, another individual appeared to assist Godzilla in 1968.
Appearance
Anguirus resembles a large gray quadrupedal dinosaur with crocodilian scales, sharp teeth, a horn on his nose, a long spiky tail, and a shell covered in spikes on his back.

Fate
Anguirus is eventually burned alive by Godzilla's radioactive breath.
