The Blair-Thing is arguably the main antagonist of the 1982 American horror film The Thing.
After being assimilated, outpost biologist Blair kills the rest of the sled dogs and dismantles the team's vehicles in an attempt to construct an escape ship. When MacReady sets the outpost on fire, the Blair-Thing appears to kill him.
Appearance
The Blair-Thing resembles a gigantic mass of tumorous flesh with a humanoid torso emerging from the top. The creature's head somewhat resembles Blair's original head, but the left half of his head is replaced by an enormous maw filled with dinosaur-like teeth. Its right arm is that of a normal human, but its left arm is replaced by two long arms ending in two-clawed hands. Erupting from the Blair-Thing's waist is a vaguely canine-looking creature.
