CHS Krampus Demon

CHS Krampus Demon is the antagonist in two segments of the 2015 Christmas horror anthology, A Christmas Horror Story.

In the third segment two people are transformed by their anger into the CHS Krampus Demon.

In the fouth segment and wrap-around story, CHS Krampus Demon battles "Santa" in Norman's psychosis.

Appearance

The CHS Krampus Demon appears in two different segments of this anthology, the third story and the main wrap around story, ending in the fourth and final story. Both segments use the same design (and actor).

The CHS Krampus Demon is all white except for the tips of its ram-like horns which are black. The shape and size of a muscular man, Krampus has a long red tongue and sharp pointy teeth. It has pointed ears. It has long white hair and a long white beard which is often covered with blood. Its a really messy biter, attested by the blood on its face and chest.

It wears white gauntlets, white pants with white boots and a chain around its mid-section.

Fate

CHS Krampus Demon has three fates in this anthology.

In the 3rd segment, the CHS Krampus Demon is killed when Caprice impales it in the uppre chest/neck and sets it on fire causing it to revert back to Gerhardt who dies from the assault.
In the end of the 3rd segment, Caprice confronts Aunt Edda over locking her family out of the house and her anger transforms Caprice into a new CHS Krampus Demon seeking vengeance.
At the end of the 4th segment and conclusion of the wrap-around story, Norman The Mall Santa in his delusional state, nearly kills the CMS Krampus Demon but is jolted back to reality by the mall's manager, Mr Taylor at the last minute. Consequently, Krampus/Mr Taylor survives.

Trivia

CHS Krampus Demon was was portrayed by actor Rob Archer.
The film takes place in the fictional town of Bailey Downs, which is where the "Ginger Snaps" films take place, as well as the name of the suburb where the Allison clone in the Orphan Black (2013) television series takes place.
During the closing credits it is stated that "No elves were harmed in the making of this film."
Dangerous Dan is an alcoholic radio DJ stuck pulling a long shift at the Bailey Downs radio station during Christmas.
The anthology segments are split up during the film's runtime. The effect was intended to indicate simultaneous events happening in Bailey Downs, reported by radio host Dangerous Dan. The effect backfired making the film feel disjointed and it suffered some poor reviews as a result.
