In the movie, it was said to be a demon summoned from hell by cannibals and the most terrifying snake among all the snakes that lived in Southeast Asia rainforest. When it comes around, all the giant snakes and animals in the area are moving away as they fear it the most which makes it the fearsome and most dominant predator in the rainforest.
