David Kessler is an American college student-turned-werewolf and the main protagonist of the 1981 horror comedy film An American Werewolf in London.
After walking through the moors of Yorkshire, England with his best friend Jack Goodman, David was attacked and bitten by a werewolf and thus became one at the night of the full moon.
Appearance
At first, David starts off as a human, but after he was attacked and bitten by a werewolf, he becomes a large quadrupedal wolf creature with long canine fangs, sharp claws, pointed ears and shaggy greyish-black fur.
