Dilophosaurus is a species of carnivorous venom-spitting dinosaur featured in the 1993 science fiction film Jurassic Park.
Appearance
Dilophosaurus is a small juvenile dinosaur getting its name from the two thin V-shaped crests of bone on top of its head. Unlike its extinct counterpart, it has very abnormal traits that include a lizard-like frill, venom glands and a skull that resembles dromaeosaurids. It also has a green-colouring with dark markings.
Its extinct counterpart is much larger, had a more tapered snout, the crests sat lower, & they (potentially) had some feathering. Also, like the rest of J.P.’s dinosaurs, they lacked the ability to pronate their wrists.

Fate
