FU Leonard Spider are the creatures inhabiting the alien planet in the science fiction film Distant aka Long Distance (2024) An asteroid miner crash-lands on an alien planet and must make his way across the harsh terrain while running out of oxygen and being hunting by strange creatures, with the hopes of reuniting with the only other survivor.

Appearance

FU Leonard Spider larger than a human being these creatures possess three spike legs with an abdomen and head (with a face). The underside has a mouth where it consumes its prey and regurgitates undigested remnants

Fate

FU Leonard Spider as a species survives even tho a few are killed. One is cut in half by a door in the mothership. Another is crushed to death when Andy slams a pod into it from above.

• FU Leonard is the name of the planet where Andy Ramirez' mining ship crash landed. L.E.O.N.A.R.D. is Andy's suit AI who asked Andy to name the Unknown planet. After multiple words were taken he simply said "fuckyou Leonard!" and L.E.O.N.A.R.D. complied by naming the planet "Fuck You Leonard"
• The alien creatures are referred to as spiders yet only have three legs.
• The film was shot in 2020 and premiered in Vietnam on July 12, 2024.
