The Buckners, also known as the Zombie Redneck Torture Family, are major antagonists in the 2012 American comedy horror film The Cabin in the Woods.
When Dana reads a passage of Latin from an old diary found in the cabin's basement, she accidentally summons a family of undead rednecks, which proceeds to take out her friends one by one.
Appearance
The Buckners are grotesque, rotting humans wearing ripped clothes typical of those worn by farmers in the early 1900s. They generally carry rusting weapons such as hoes, trowels, and bear traps.

Fate
Father Buckner is trapped in the group's RV as it plunges into a lake. Mother Buckner is last seen leaving the cabin and thus probably survives. Matthew Buckner is defeated by Marty, who knocks him out with his bong. Judah Buckner is hacked to pieces with his own trowel by Marty. Patience Buckner attacks the Director and gets her axe stuck in the latter's back, only to fall into the pit after Marty kicks the Director's body off the ledge.
