King Caesar is a major protagonist in the 1974 Japanese kaiju film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla.
King Caesar is a mythical guardian statue created to protect the royal Azumi family of Okinawa, Japan. When extraterrestrials attempt to invade Earth with a robotic replica of Godzilla, King Caesar is summoned to fight them.
Appearance
King Caesar is a bipedal canine-like creature with brown stony skin, a vaguely dog-like muzzle, and floppy dog-like ears. His nose is bulbous with flaring nostrils, and his back, ears, and arms are covered in golden hair. The tip of his lion-like tail has a large tuft of fur that resembles a stylized flame.

Fate
