The Gray Widowers are major antagonists in the 2007 American horror film The Mist.
Some of the mist's deadliest hunters, Gray Widowers took up residence in King's Pharmacy, covering the building in their acidic webbing and using the still-living bodies of several townspeople as incubators for thousands of their offspring.
Appearance
Gray Widowers are large spider-like creatures whose two foremost legs end in crab-like pincers. Their backs are covered in porcupine-like quills and their jaws are vertebrate-like rather than actual arthropod mandibles.

The Gray Widowers aren't killed on-screen, but they are presumably killed along with the rest of the monsters by the military at the film's end.
