The Grey Lady, formerly known as Eleanor Twitty, is a minor antagonist in the 1984 American comedy-horror film Ghostbusters.
The Grey Lady was encountered by the Ghostbusters at the New York Public Library, where she roamed the halls and shushed anyone she encountered.
In her normal form, the Grey Lady is a humanoid specter resembling an elderly, gray-haired, Caucasian woman whose torso fades away towards the bottom instead of ending in legs. In her monstrous form, her face is rather ape-like, with protruding teeth, flaring nostrils, and deep-set eyes. She also has, in this form, long white hair and a tattered purple dress.
