The Hungarian Horntail is one of the ten breeds of dragons in the Harry Potter series.
Appearance
The Hungarian Horntail has black scales, and is lizard-like in appearance. She also has yellow eyes, with vertical pupils like a cat's, bronze horns and similarly coloured spikes that protrude from her long tail which she will gladly deploy in combat.

Fate
The Hungarian Horntail falls to her death in a ravine after Harry Potter knocks her out by making the dragon crash into a large brick wall while chasing him around Hogwarts.
Trivia
- The Hungarian Horntail's roars and growls were reused for Nebbercracker's house in the 2006 film Monster House.
