When Slappy the dummy is accidentally released from his manuscript prison, he releases an army of 600 sentient lawn gnomes into R. L. Stine's basement.

The Killer Lawn Gnomes are small garden gnomes with graying beards and clothes of various colors. Some of them wield weapons such as pickaxes and knives.
