Krampus is the main antagonist of the 2015 American comedy-horror film Krampus.
Described as "the shadow of St. Nicholas", Krampus is an ancient demonic spirit who teaches important lessons about embracing the Christmas spirit by tormenting his victims with hellish monsters and elves.
Appearance
Krampus is a large hunch-backed creature with enormous, black, segmented ram horns, long fingers with sharp black claws, and goat-like hooves. He wears a large tattered cloaked made of a patchwork combination of different fabric squares; said cloak is also covered in rusty chains and sleigh bells. To obscure his true face, Krampus wears the flayed face of an old man with a white beard and perpetually hanging jaw.

Fate
Krampus captures the entirety of the Engel family, only for the film to reveal that he gave them a second chance at life and is now spying on them through a surveillance snowglobe.

- Krampus is, in reality, a mythological figure from Pagan folklore in the alpine regions of Germany and Austria.
