The Leafwings are minor antagonists in the 2017 American kaiju film Kong: Skull Island.
When a Monarch expedition to Skull Island is accidentally split up into multiple groups, one such group encounters a flock of pterosaur-like creatures.
Appearance
The Leafwings are pterosaur-like creatures with gray skin, greenish-yellow pycnofibers, two-toed feet, and leathery wings formed from very long arms. Their faces have long gray protrusions covered in cactus needles.

Fate
Several of the Leafwings are killed in the graveyard by members of the crew, but most survive.
Trivia
- Despite being pterosaurs, Colonel Packard refers to them as birds.
