Appearance

Leatherback is a giant grey gorilla like kaiju covered in leathery scaly skin with four luminescent turquoise eyes, turquoise lines and runes running around its body, a frosty blue crest of spikes on its head and a slit like jewel in its forehead

Powers and Abilities

Leatherback possesses the following powers and abilities:

• mace like hands
• a lobed organ that can discharge electrocution pulses that can jam jaegars

Fate

Leatherback is killed when Mako activates Gipsy Danger's left-arm Plasmacaster and fires four shots into the Kaiju's mutilated body, causing a small combustion and burning Leatherback's corpse beyond any possibility of survival

Trivia

• The name "Leatherback" is a play on the name of adult male Gorillas, the silverback. Leatherback's body language is similar to that of Gorilla's in the way it moves on its knuckles and charges at its enemies.
