Lust is an antagonist in the 2019 film, Shazam!.
The ancient wizard Shazam has spent centuries searching for someone pure of heart on whom to bestow his power and name as champion, after the previous champion released the Seven Deadly Sins, which killed the rest of the Council of Wizards. Thaddeus Sivana is tempted by the Eye of Sin; hearing the voices of the Sins trapped in stone statues, they promise him power if he will free them.
The Seven Deadly Sins' design fits aspects of each sin:
- Wrath is bulky and brawny and is the most aggressive and combative of the Sins.
- Pride is the only Sin to have wings and horns.
- Greed has four arms, more arms than is necessary and also useful for grabbing as much as it desires.
- Gluttony is revoltingly obese and has a mouth from his belly to his face.
- Sloth has the features of the sloth animal and has tentacles which enable it to reach out and grab things rather than properly moving around.
- Lust has a long tongue and prefers to target females.
- Envy is the smallest and puniest of the bunch.

Fate
Lust, like all the Deadly Sins, cannot be destroyed. However, when Billy lures Envy from Sivana (making him Vulnerable) he rips the Eye of Sin from Sivana's Head...thus recaputuring the Deadly Sins to be locked away once again into their statues.

- In October 2020, the release date for the sequal: Shazam! Fury of the Gods was delayed to June 2, 2023.
- There were seven wizards, of whom Shazam is the last one, consequently there are seven deadly sins.
- Part of the DCEU franchise.
- In the comics they were known as the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man.
- In a mid-credits scene, Sivana is approached by a talking caterpillar, Mister Mind.
- Lust attacks a Santa Claus (gifter of presents) during the carnival fight.
