The Mist Behemoth is a minor antagonist in the 2007 American horror film The Mist.
As David Drayton and the other survivors escape in his car and flee the store, they encounter this gigantic creature, a monster so large that it doesn't even seem to notice their presence as it steps over the road in front of them.
Appearance
The Mist Behemoth is an enormous, vaguely arthropod monster, the largest seen in the film. It stands on six, multi-jointed legs that end in sauropod-like feet. Its head is similar to that of a vertebrate, calling to mind an anglerfish, with an underbite and small eyes. Above its head and jutting out of its back are hundreds of octopus-like arms, and the creature's underbelly is littered with small praying mantis-like arms.
