"The Monster", otherwise known as the Abominable Snowman, Bigfoot and Sasquatch, is the main monster of the 2006 movie Abominable. It's a tall sadistic, man-eating beast who stalks the main characters of the movie.

Bigfoot is a large ape-like monster covered head to toe, in messybrown hair with large arms and massive stomping feet and a broad humanoid head with a beard, violet skin, small yellowish eyes, bushy eyebrows. It's jaw that can extend like a anaconda with teeth fused together reminiscent of a bone plate.

In a concept art, it's small eyes are slightly reddish colored and his teeth are slightly yellow. The creature has a notable angry-like facial expression even when calmed.

Powers and Abilities

The Monster possesses the following powers and abilities:

• Brute Strength: The Bigfoot displayed it's superior strength in the movie at various moments where he was able to overpower grown adults with little efforts. One of it's feats of strength is when he was able to lift a car from behind, preventing the vehicle to escape.
• Extendable & Strong Jaws: Bigfoot's signature method to kill his victims. It's maw stretches simiar to a snake's jaw, so it can chomp down and bite off it's victims in a gory manner.
• Elusive Presence:
• Enhanced Senses: In the movie, the Bigfoot has displayed heightened senses such as being farsighted when the character Preston used his binoculars and looked at the monster's eyes from afar. It also displayed a great sense of smell to track his enemies.

Fate

The beast is rammed by a car into a tree and gets impaled by an axe but it was later discovered the corpse of the monster has vanished. Toward the end of the film, it is shown there are several creatures of it's kin who are staring and growling at humans. It is possible the corpse of the monster has been taken by it's kin.

Trivia

• The Bigfoot creatures seems to travel in packs.
• Their diets are most likely carnivorous as they only meat dogs, horses and human flesh.
