N-6117 BioRaptor are the main antagonists in the 2000 film Pitch Black.
The spaceship Hunter-Gratzner, (a passenger transport ship) crash lands on a desert planet in the M-334g system, N-6117.
The survivors seek refuge at a local mining camp abandoned by its inhabitants. While exploring the camp they discover an orrey which shows this planet will enter into a long duration eclipse of total darkness. While looking for water one of the survivors is gruesomely killed and the rest suspect convicted murder prisoner Riddick as the murderer. A young settler exploring the camp is then killed as well.
While searching for the murdered settler the pilot of the doomed transport enters a cave and is attacked by subterranean creatures, barely escaping with her life.
It is determined that the subterranean creatures are photosensitive, carnivorous and deadly predators.
As the eclipse brings darkness the creatures emerge from their underground network and swarm the planet.

2. Mid level: small, bat-like, and fly in flocks to hunt (they kill Shazza during the eclipse).
3. Adult: large, gray, possessing wide narrow heads, who can easily kill a human alone, as well as their own kind for food (they kill Johns, Paris, Fry, and others).
