Piranhadon is a species of carnivorous fish that appeared in the extended version of the 2005 film King Kong.
Appearance
The whole body structure of a Piranhadon is comparable to a mixture of that of a snake and fish. It is dark green above the white below while the head resemble that of ordinary piranhas, as well as a pair of green glassy eyes. A dorsal fin runs from the Piranhadon's head to its back while it has two pectoral fins and two long, sensitive barbels on their lower jaws. Despite the size of their eyes, it is very imprecise and could only see in terms of the contrast between extreme light and extreme dark. It powerful tail moves side to side in order to propel the fish through the water, and its pectoral fins is used to steer them. As a rule, the larger the Piranhadon, the faster it could swim. It boasted double-hinged jaws that allowed it to swallow most prey whole. Its sharp peg-like teeth is designed to pin prey in place rather than cut them.

Fate
In the extended cut of King Kong, a Piranhadon attacks the crew of the Venture in a swamp and devours three members, although the remaining survivors manage to escape it by swimming to the closest shore.
