Raiju

Raiju is a crocodile like kaiju from the 2013 movie Pacific Rim.

Appearance

Raiju is a giant pale grey/green crocodile standing on two feet with four silver eyes , a snout that can split into four parts, panglion like Armour on its back and lava like lines on its yellow chest.

Trivia

Raiju's name is a bit of a misnomer, as the Raiju of Japanese mythology was a creature with a broad range of appearances such as a wolf, cat, weasel, or fox. It was the companion of Raijin, the Shinto god of lightning.
