Ramarak, also known as the Skull Devil, is the main antagonist of the 2017 American kaiju film Kong: Skull Island.
When a Monarch expedition to Skull Island bombs the island with seismological instruments to map the underground world beneath the surface, it accidentally awakens a group of lizard-like creatures led by an enormous, insatiable monster.
Like the other Skullcrawlers, Ramarak is an enormous reptilian creature resembling a cross between a lizard and a snake. It has a serpentine body, two powerful forelimbs with spikes on its elbows, a long prehensile tail, and a face resembling a crocodile skull.
Powers and Abilities
Ramarak possesses the following powers and abilities:
- Enormous size
- Armored hide
- Prehensile tail

- Sharp teeth
- Projectile tongue
After Ramarak swallows Kong's arm up to the elbow, the latter grabs onto the former's tongue and rips its digestive system out through its mouth.
- It is unknown if Ramarak is the parent of the other Skullcrawlers or if it is just the alpha of the pack.
