Santa Jaws is the main antagonist of the 2018 American horror/comedy film Santa Jaws.
Young teenager Cody, disillusioned with his family on Christmas, secludes himself on the porch to work on his comic book series titled "Santa Jaws". His father, understanding the boy's frustration, gifts him a magical pen. When Cody uses the pen to finish his drawing of Santa Jaws, the creature actually manifests in the waters of the nearby dock and begins going on a killing spree.
Appearance
Santa Jaws appears as a normal great white shark with Christmas lights wrapped around her body, glowing red eyes, and a Santa hat on her fin. Later in the film, her teeth become replaced by shards of broken ornaments and she gains a large peppermint horn like that of a narwhal.
Powers and Abilities
Santa Jaws has all of the abilities typical of great white sharks, such as her increased agility in the water, her large size, and her incredible powerful jaws and sharp teeth. Her appearance and abilities can also be changed somewhat by editing the drawing of her in the book with the magical pen.
Fate
Cody's family's initial plan is to build a crude catapult to launch gunpowder-filled turkeys into the waters of the bay and shoot one once Santa Jaws bites into one. However, Santa Jaws deliberately ignores the turkeys and ends up impaling Josh with her horn. After also killing Cody's father, Santa Jaws does bite into one of the turkeys, allowing Cody to shoot and blow up the beast, seemingly killing it. After a few moments of peace, however, Santa Jaws revives and begins attacking Cody's mother. Cody finally decides to burn the comic book from which the creature was spawned, setting it ablaze and resurrecting all of her victims.
