Slimer is a minor antagonist and later anti-hero in the 1984 American comedy-horror film Ghostbusters as well as its sequel and 2016 remake.
When the fledgling Ghostbusters are hired for their first case at the Sedgewick Hotel, they encounter an annoying ghostly glutton haunting the ballroom.
Appearance
Slimer is a floating, obese blob of green slime with small eyes, a small nose, an enormous mouth filled with yellowed teeth, and two thin arms.

Fate
Slimer is captured in the ballroom, but he is accidentally released with all of the other ghosts later in the film.
Trivia
- Slimer's original name was "Onionhead" due to him smelling horrible in early scripts.
