Terapusmordax is a species of flying bat-like rodent that appear in the 2005 film King Kong.
Appearance
Terapusmordax resemble naked mole rats, but with bat wings, sharp teeth and claws. Their skin is also very thin and almost translucent.

Fate
A swarm of Terapusmordax are awakened by King Kong in his lair whereupon they proceed to attack the giant ape. During the fight, Jack Driscoll was able to grab hold of the wing of one of the creatures and escapes with Ann Darrow. Several of the flying rodents are seen following them until Jack and Ann fall into a river below.
