The Masked Rider is an antagonist in the 2009 Film, Solomon Kane.
Set in 1601, English mercenary Solomon Kane converts to Puritanism and renounces violence after an encounter with a demon makes him believe his previous violent actions (killing his brother, Marcus) have damned his soul. When The Masked Rider steals a girl; Solomon Kane must hunt down and kill The Masked Rider to free her, not realizing it is actually his now cursed brother behind that mask.

- The two planned sequels never happened.
- The young woman Kane sets out to save is named Meredith. This was a Welsh surname, but when used as a given name (often as a patronymic) it was given to males. It didn't become a female given name until nearly 300 years after the time period of this film, and then mostly in the US.
- When Solomon sets his brother on fire in the final sword fight scene Marcus initially has a cape that is also set ablaze. In the next shot the cape is gone.
