Urag is a minor antagonist in the 2014 film, Seventh Son.

John Gregory, who is a seventh son of a seventh son and also the local spook, has protected his country from witches, boggarts, ghouls and all manner of things that go bump in the night. However John is not young anymore, and has been seeking an apprentice to carry on his trade. Most have failed to survive. The last hope is a young farmer's son named Thomas Ward. Will he survive the training to become the spook that so many others couldn't? Should he trust the girl with pointy shoes? How can Thomas stand a chance against Mother Malkin, the most dangerous witch in the county? Urag was one of Mother Malkin’s lieutenants. Urag was imprisoned in a cage for Tom's apprentiship training.

Appearance

Urag was a tall burly man of Mongolian descent with a mustache and pointy beard, long brown dreadlocks and complexity black eyes dressed in furs and a Russian hat . in his bear form hes a towering humanoid hunch backed grizzly bear standing on two legs, a long shaggy pelt in shades of grey,black,brown, light orange,amber eyes, a dark muzzle covered in scars and filled with pointy teeth and long claws

Fate

Urag is killed by Gregory burning him during Tom's apprentiship when Tom failed to do so.

• Very loosely based on book one of Joseph Delaney's "The Wardstone chronicles" series, "The Spook's Apprentice."
• it seems that urags bear form is based on concentration if disrupted he changes back
