The Velociraptor is the name of several different characters that appear in various dinosaur movies and TV shows. Their most notable appearance is in the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World franchise, where they sometimes appear as antagonists.
Role in the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World franchise
Jurassic Park (1993)[]
The Velociraptor was first mentioned to attack an InGen employee. The Big One is the pack leader of the Velociraptors. The entire pack was put into a raptor pen whilst the paddock designed for them was under construction. Inside the pen, a cow was lowered towards them so that they can eat it.
Later in the movie, the Velociraptors began to chase the main characters, and they were later defeated by Rexy.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)[]
The Velociraptor appears again inhabiting an abandoned village on Isla Sorna. People who were stranded on the island fought their way through the Velociraptor pack.

Jurassic Park III (2001)[]
The Velociraptor makes a more minor appearance when it stalks people in order to retrieve stolen eggs.
Jurassic World (2015)[]
- Main article: Blue, Delta, Echo and Charlie
A Velociraptor pack appears again, with four them named Blue, Charlie, Delta, and Echo. The pack was used to defeat the Indominus Rex.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)[]

The Land Before Time (1988)[]
Several Velociraptors briefly appear during the Great Earthshake.
Beast Wars: Transformers (1996)[]
The former predacon Dinobot takes the alt mode of a Velociraptor, but in brown & cream.
Dinosaur (2000)[]
Several Velociraptors appear as minor antagonists in the film, but they were later scared away by the two Carnotaurus.
